HOLY TO THE LORD - Corduroy Hat

“Make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it as on a seal: holy to the Lord. Fasten a blue cord to it to attach it to the turban; it is to be on the front of the turban." - Exodus 28:36-37 NIV

In the Mosaic Law, the High Priest had to have the words, "holy to the Lord," fastened to his forehead. His entire life was meant to be set apart for God's use. As artists, we're part of the royal priesthood of believers. What would change in our lives and our art if we reminded ourselves of this truth every day? What if the very best of our creativity, our imagination, and our focus were kept sacred for the Creator's use?
